What is the Spread?
The Crypto Investment market has two prices, the first price is the ‘SELL price’ and the second price is the ‘BUY price’, the spread is the difference between the BUY and the SELL price. In spread
betting, the bid price is the value at which you can opt to go short if you anticipate a fall in the underlying market, whilst the offer price is the value at which you can go long if you
predict the market price to rise.
As a result of the spread forming the difference between the bid and offer prices, the values at which you buy and sell will always be slightly higher and lower than the market price.
